As the selected 2009 intern for Carnegie Mellon's Posner Center, the vaulted doors opened up to me and contained the magnificent Posner Rare Book Collection. After researching the interwoven histories of book production, design, and distribution, I created an exhibit to reveal the evolving experience of books from Gutenberg to the modern Kindle.
Each of the six display cases focused on a specific topic, with key moments revealed in a timeline. Events on the timelines correspond to original examples from the rare book collection.
